Questions you may have
Everything you might be wondering
The most common questions about the Focus Masters experience — group sizes, formats, languages and what your team walks away with.
How many participants can join the Focus Challenge?
10–500 participants can play simultaneously. The activity is run digitally and shows the ABC performance in real time.
What does the Focus Challenge actually look like?
You're welcome to watch the video: participants are energetic and dynamic, working in small teams — they get into focus with a challenging set of missions and limited time to reach the goal. The experience embeds the critical messages in a memorable way that bypasses over-thinking.
What happens when time is up?
When the experience ends, we look together at the 'traps' we fell into, what we got right, and above all — how it plays out in our everyday organizational reality. We process it within the small teams and in plenary, along the ABC model — Accountability, big-picture thinking and building partnerships.
These are exactly the issues we deal with — how did you know?
Because that's exactly how we developed Focus Masters — from a deep familiarity and accumulated experience with the issues that occupy managers and organizations. We've already run it with more than 1,500 groups around the world, and we keep developing and refining it.
How long does the Focus Challenge take?
The Focus Challenge runs about an hour and a half — a shared experience, a debrief and a practical takeaway tool. Focus Masters runs from about three hours up to a full day, continuing into applicable practices and Action Items. The Focus Challenge also makes an excellent kick-off for leadership- and management-development programs.
So what will happen to our organization as a result?
Whether in a workshop or a large conference, we help you embed the messages of the CEO, the management and the organization — and along the way we gain a fun, shared experience, generate personal and managerial insights about the organizational reality, and walk away with a practical tool to do things better. From there we can continue together to Focus Masters and create working practices, embedding values and behaviors.
We are a global company — how can the Challenge serve us?
It started local and became international — translated into 10 languages, serving global events and gatherings in its physical or virtual version. We also provide local facilitators in local languages when needed. Moreover, it's a tool that helps an organization create a shared standard and a global language across different sites worldwide.
Can the experience include missions from our organization's own content world?
Yes. The Challenge is run by a computerized system, and the missions can be tailored to your needs and your organization's content world.
Our people are very different — senior and junior, serious and informal, cynical and outspoken. Will they cooperate?
To date, with more than 1,500 groups worldwide, we've never encountered such a case. The enjoyable experience in small teams generates engagement and a genuine commitment to success.
